Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to healthcare professionals, academics, researchers, clinicians, and students
  • Submissions must be original work and not previously published
  • All abstracts must meet international ethical standards
  • Students should list their academic supervisor (if applicable)

Submission Process

Register for the Symposium

Before submitting your abstract, you must first register for the Building Bridges Symposium 2026.

Prepare Your Abstract

Review the abstract guidelines below and prepare your submission using the required structure. Ensure your abstract does not exceed 300 words.

Complete the Submission Form

Download and complete the Abstract Submission Form (PDF) and submit it via the online portal or email to: buildingbridges@cte.ac.mu

Receive Confirmation

You will receive an email confirming successful submission of your abstract within 2 days of submission.

Abstract Structure

Your abstract must follow this structure and not exceed 300 words total:

Briefly explain the context and importance of your study
Clearly state your study’s aim or purpose
Describe your research methods or practical approach
Summarize key findings or expected outcomes
Explain the significance of your findings

Use clear and straightforward language
State your purpose clearly
Proofread carefully before submission
Define all abbreviations on first use
Not allowed in the title; may be used (in brackets) in the body

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee based on:

  • Relevance to symposium themes
  • Scientific quality and methodology
  • Innovation and originality
  • Clarity of presentation

  • Posters will be displayed throughout the symposium
  • Presenters may be asked to stand by their posters during designated discussion times
  • Exact presentation schedule will be communicated upon acceptance
